ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN: Hidden Lake
Hidden Lake: An iconic mid-century home in need of updating and redesign, the primary objective was to provide all-on-one-floor living. A new addition and reorganization of the existing interior spaces maintained the home's architectural integrity while creating a new, dramatic gallery hall. The original St. Charles cabinetry, Philippine mahogany millwork and some of the owners' furnishings were repurposed. The palette of materials/colors provided a museum-like background for collections of fine art, mid-century furniture and crafts.
